The Grand Paris Express

Paris’s four new suburban metro lines will make travel easier for nearly 3 million people. As a viable alternative for commuting in cars, the metro is also an opportunity to take a second look at modes of transport around the stations, and to prioritise cycling and walking. It’s also a chance to introduce property development projects with low carbon emissions that demand less local energy.
Twenty years after it is commissioned, the Grand Paris Express will save at least 14.2 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2050

In the meantime, work progresses on all the lines. Watch the video.
